Many of us will still be experiencing the impact of Covid-19 or are still adjusting to life post-pandemic, the adaptions still being required or outcomes already experienced. Sometimes no getting away from media saturation, pressures or responsibilities. Focus on our mental and physical health has never been more important. Stressors that we never expected we are now living with daily; anxiety, depression, pressure and responsibilities all have an impact on your mental health and well-being. Both face-to-face and online counselling is available via skype, zoom and telephone.

Chilibre Holistics is the result of a lifelong journey of growth and interest in people’s well-being, incorporating independent services of talking therapy and complementary therapy. Passionate and driven in making a difference, my area of interest lie in encompassing the subjective world of the individual being as you see, hear, feel, think and be, which contribute to both internal and external stressors in your world. Alongside this are my interest and continually growing knowledge of the biology and physiology of how our brains and body operate and the science behind the responses of our being. This brings to my practice the opportunity to work in a psycho-educational way. Ultimately I work in a multi-faceted way that suits you. Each and every individual’s journey through life is unique and we will explore the therapy services on offer and what will work best for you.

Areas of Practice
Counselling
Whatever your age, background, race or culture, you are not alone. Together we can walk the journey and explore what could be going on for you. Being heard and talking freely in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space can be incredibly empowering in understanding who you are and how you can be more true to you, whilst navigating your path for growth and development
Couple Counseling
Couple therapy can help people open up some of the issues that are troubling them. Couples who come together open up communication between them so that they can understand the underlying issues in order to resolve the difficulties they are experiencing and find an agreed way forward.
Walk and talk
Counselling in motion, literally walking side by side with you, at a pace that suits you. For some people, walking outside might itself confront issues they would like to address such as a fear of open spaces or a fear of feeling judged for their appearance. Being out among nature can help create the feeling freedom and creativity and regeneration, as well as a little healthy exercise.
reflexology
Reflexology is based on the principle that reflex points on the soles, tops, and sides of the feet correspond to areas throughout the body. Working on the reflex points with thumb, fingers or knuckles, using specialised massage techniques, can help correct imbalances throughout the body.
reiki
Reiki is a non-invasive complementary therapy, said to use natural energy flow for health and well-being. Its gentle nature means that reiki is suitable for all ages. Reiki energy is said to help rebalance the whole person in mind, body and spirit. Potential benefits may include deep relaxation, Improved mood and sense of self and a general sense of health and well-being
mINDFULNESS
It's easy to rush through life without stopping to notice much. Paying more attention to the present moment – to your own thoughts and feelings, and to the world around you – can improve your mental well-being. Mindfulness can help us enjoy life more and understand ourselves better.
Bereavement Counselling
Death raises questions which Science cannot answer, your world as you knew it as no longer there. Loss is so very personal, with no right or normal response. Your feeling can be very strong, unexpected and frightening. At other times you can feel numb and even detached, guilt, shame, anger, sadness and even relief. Talking through the feelings, thoughts and behaviours can be incredibly supportive in making sense of it all

Pet Bereavement
Grieving for a pet can be a sad and difficult experience. Losing a much loved pet is similar to mourning the loss of a loved one. Much as some may try and rationalise that you have ‘only’ lost a pet, the truth is that you are grieving for a companion, friend and family member, sometimes it may be your only family member. The grief of a pet can sometimes make you feel even more isolated through feelings of not being understood, where it can be felt as a less important grief, often dismissed by those around us.
